Friday marks the end of the working week and the beginning of the weekend for many. It's time to take off your work clothes and go into weekend mode, and with that, lower your shoulders, relax and enjoy the company of friends. A Friday pub is a natural place to meet. Here you can drink and eat together while talking about anything and everything and solving the world's big and small problems. Many people find this a great way to start the weekend.
At Hjellup Fjordbo , we launched a Friday pub in January 2023. It is an offer for locals in Leksvik and visiting guests and has already become a popular addition to what is otherwise available. We serve a good selection of drinks, tasty small dishes and snacks. An informal quiz has also become part of the Friday pub at Hjellup Fjordbo. From March 2024, our Friday pub will be open by reservation only. This means that we will not have an ordinary Friday pub, but if someone joins together and books (minimum 10 people), we will open for everyone. We will then post information online so that more people can have the opportunity to come. Keep an eye on our Facebook page or get in touch. For overnight guests at Drivhussletta we can also have an open pub if desired.
The tradition of the pub has its origins far back in time and can be described as a place where food and alcoholic beverages are served.
