Here in Trøndelag, the weather is not particularly predictable, and that also applies in the summer. One thing is certain: the weather can change quickly and it never gets boring. One of our German summer guests put it so strikingly: "I've never seen so many rainbows as in the weeks we spent on our summer vacation at Hjellup Fjordbo." And all these changes often create magical lighting conditions that can be an experience in themselves. Summer can certainly be both hot and dry here in Trøndelag, and the water temperature in the Trondheimsfjord can reach over 20 degrees at times. However, it's not the hot summer weather that attracts tourists here in the summer, but rather the opportunity to escape the heatwaves further south in Europe.

We do our best to make all our guests feel welcome, but remember that our holiday homes may at times be full of guests.
